- October 2006: Port facility reform makes possible the integration of 1150 Dockers among SOMAPORT staff members
- 30 November 2006: Signature of the 30-year concession agreement with ANP
- May 2007: Privatization of SOMAPORT shareholder Company. SOMAPORT joins the CMA CGM group, third world leader in maritime container transport. The Group also has extensive expertise in container terminals via its Terminal Link subsidiary which holds a significant portfolio
- 2006-2008: Civil Engineering work for compliance of the terminals with international standards.
- 2006-2009: the Dockers do sub-contracting work for other port operators
- October 2009: Start-up of SOMAPORT operation on the container terminal.
- 2012: Resumption of SOMAPORT by TERMINAL LINK SA subsidiary of CMA CGM.
